Switching to Purchasing on a Direct Basis
The Client- Inflight Airline MagazineWe commenced discussions in February 2011 and found a satisfactory outcome within a month.
The ProblemWe wanted to improve the quality of paper used for our in-flight magazine and we therefore asked our printer to supply samples of alternative paper grades.
Upon chasing the printer, it transpired they had not arranged the samples nor had they ordered any paper for our April issue, which was due to print in two weeks time.
Our printer recommended that we contact Gould Publication Papers to see if they could help.
The SolutionGould were able to provide us with various paper options for our April issue, all of which met the standard we wanted to achieve, along with a competitive pricing structure.
Having made the decision about which paper we wanted to go with, Gould then liaised with our printer to ensure that the reel widths etc were ordered and that the paper was delivered in time for our allocated press time.
